My dad was a Liverpool fan. He loved to watch soccer matches. And i remembered when i was younger, i used to sit beside him and watched together. He would cheer and he would jeer as the match went on...and he would tell me how great Liverpool was and how skillful the players were......

So i grew up with my dad and hmm....liverpool ...

Though i wasn't really keen on watching soccer matches even though i was a fine young soccer player playing for my school team, i came across this incident of a man called-Eric Cantona. He "flew" himself into the fans arena during a match between MUFC and Crystal Palace. And that earned him a solid one year ban from playing any matches.

Ever since, there was only one football club in my heart..

After me, the likes of David Beckham, the Neville brothers, Keano, Scholesy, Gissy, Butt..started to force their way thru not only in the first team, but also in the Premiership....

My dad and i still watched soccer matches together.. but it would get quite tensed whenever our favourite teams met one another...

Just like what's going to happen tonite at 8.30pm.. Man U will meet Liverpool at Anfield for a showdown!! Though my dad had already promoted to glory, and he's with the Lord right now, but i know i will be watching with him tonite..... in my heart...


I love my dad.....but not Liverpool.......
